Petit Brocante

..Made some boxes for my rusty wreaths.

I know, I have to improve the gold effects, but I like the simple box in itself. I made a label with the Petit Brocante logo. This is not a coincidence, in time I will make a miniature shop too, and in fact I am working on it right now ;-), and it will of course be a Brocante shop, and a sister shop to Annies.

Have a nice weekend!

  4. Very nice design for the box, perfect for your wreaths. Perhaps just rub gold on the edges rather than try to paint it, I have done that before when I did folk art. Rub it on with a cloth and just the edge of your finger.

Margaret, I think, that your suggestion will solve my problem with the all the too dominating gold lines, thank you so much!
    Love, Susanne

  8. What perfect boxes you have made. They just fit right into a Brocante shop. I agree with Margaret about just rubbing the gold on. I use this very often with my scrapbooking. We call it distressing. SMILE. If you are close to a scrapbook store the brand "Tim Holz" have some great tools.

  13. It is so exciting with the Petit Brocante Shop... For edging with gold, I just drybrush with an acrylic paint.

  14. You know, I thought you were going to start a shop when I read this, I mean a real shop :) which is a great idea :). But to make a mini brocante? I am convinced yours will be outstanding.

It's not easy to make a tiny box or paint mini. You had done a wonderful job.
