I am finishing the details on the first part of the Orangerie these days, so I´am showing you some pictures of the project. First some of the details..
Then the house from the outside..
Click the photos to enlarge.
The next part of the project is to make the other part of the Orangerie which will be the one with the bathtub, a lot of plants, a wickerchaiselongue and a potterytable..
It is beautiful! So many pretty, feminine details! I have a plant nursery/gift shop in progress and this inspires me to finish it--nothing to compare to your's, unfortunately but filled with lots of my favorite things.

It's so beautiful with all the plants. I hope to see a picture by night when the light is on.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a child, I loved books with pictures which had many many details. So I looked and looked and I did not want to stop with looking.
ReplyDeleteThe same with your orangerie - it is wonderful and I want to look and look .....
with a smile

Nice job, Susanne :). Can't wait to see the other one with the bathroom :). So how are you handling the wires? Wiring is always the thing that stops me from starting. Always feel that I have to sort that one out 1st.
ReplyDeleteHi everyone! Thanks for your sweet comments. I don´t know any place in life as comforting as this ;-)
ReplyDeleteJody, I´m sure your house will be great, I´m looking forward to see it.
Roelie, I will post a night picture some day, but I ran out of bulbs for the wall lamps, and I think I will need one more lamp on the outside.
Sans, do you mean the wires for electricity? I am afraid that you can see them hanging outside the windows..don´t know what to do with it ;-)
Love. Susanne
I would love to have a place like that in real life to "hang out" Looks so calm and soothing:)
ReplyDeletewat een prachtige oranjerie, daar wil ik wel zelf in wonen
ReplyDeleteSusanne, oh what beautiful collection you have in your Orangerie! It looks like such a wonderful place to go and sit. I am sure you wish to make yourself small to sit in there too, just like I do!

ReplyDeleteRachel, the next building is Brocante, it has a staircase leading to a roof terrace, I haven´t worked a lot with that yet, but they are of course selling outdoor Brocante equipment, a little flowers and so on..

ReplyDeleteOh, c'est réellement incroyable, cette atmosphère dans l'orangeraie ! Ca donne envie de s'installer sur l'un de tes petits tabourets, avec un livre, pendant qu'il pleut dehors...
