Mmmmaterial girl

I never got to make miniatures for the 15th of december, not enough time. But I recieved some small packages in the mail, and I would like to share the extent with Annie for the advent calender. I know, that a small amount of beads or pieces, can have a very inspiring effect on Annie, so I´ll put these small items in the Annie-Box today..

What, no minis to day???

Oh yes, Annie, but these are wannabe miniatures, or could be used in your 1:1 decorations. It will look great under one of your bell jars. I´ll put a pheasant wing and a selection of small feathers in the Annie-Box...

Rust had slept!

You might think that I am trying to show you the same table all over again..but now listen..
Well, quite a while ago, I think it must have been in january, I bought some Scenic Rust, and I wrote on this blog that I was a little dissapointed with it, since I thougt I could make the same effect with paint and sand much cheeper.
Some days ago I got an E-mail from Birthe Knuth at Miniseum, where I bought the Scenic Rust, telling me, that she had discovered that a part of the materials from the period where I bought mine, had a "construction failure". So she offered to send me another set and vupti, now I have rust on the table that I wanted to rust (and a lot of other places where I couldn´t resist the impulse..).
So this is how it looks when it works. And actually this time the rust smells like rust, that special ironsmell..its not just a kind of paint, and I love both the color and the texture. So thank you Birthe, and I promise rusting will continue not to sleep ;-)
