So I´ve been working with the tiles for the kitchen floor. I wanted it to look like a very rustique terracotta tile floor (which helps me hiding how many difficulties I had making it just a little even). I am very satisfied with the color, but maybe the floor got a little too rustique? Or maybe it will look better when the floorpanels are added, and the walls gets done too?
No, it's not too rustic, it's perfect! Is it made of clay? Looks really nice :)

The kitchen is beautiful. The chairs are gorgeous.
The result seems to me beautiful and convincing. You may try to write a semi-matte finishes and see if you like the most. But it is better to finish first with the walls, to judge the whole.

ReplyDeleteIn fact it allready has got two layers of matte varnish ;-) And for the color accents, try to enlarge the last picture, its quite dirty and a little more around the stow..
I have concluded that the walls and the floorpanels will do it..

I think it's good 'as is' too, and I agree with Flora's suggestion not to change anything (if you are tempted to) until you do the walls as well and can look at the floor in a more 'balanced' way :)
