Good ingredients..

Do you know one of these days, when your kitchen is filled with good ingredients: Fruit, vegetables, herbs, fish and maybe shell fish? The smell fills the air as you cut and slice. Be present and enjoy the small things in life...

It is one of these days today. I began with making myself a greek salad, which is one of my favorites, I eat it every day when I spend hollidays in Greece and I enjoy how the homegrown vegetables smells and tastes of so much more than most vegetables you buy in Denmark. Of cause I poured myself a large glass of icecold Retzina, but it doesn´t show on the pictures ;-)

Then I felt like preserving some vegetables, like their looks in large jars and to add lemon, chilis and other stuff.

I also have some lobsters and some oysters..well they have to be prepared too, so thats all from me for now ;-)

  1. I love kitchens and truly believe it is the heart of a home :). Even though we hardly cook, we almost always end up sitting in the kitchen with coffee and chatting.

Your kitchen looks marvelous :) and the ingredients make me want to cook up a storm :) which nobody will eat , I'm afraid.
