I admit, I don´t celebrate easter because of its religious theme, but because I like to celebrate spring coming. Easter is also the time to celebrate fertility,so we focus on baby-animals, flowers, birds mating and eggs. I made a couple of easter eggs for the Orangerie. I know the strawberries on the table are out of season, I just get so tempted when I see them in the shops right now ;-)
So pretty easter eggs... and the basket too. Did you make the eggs out of polymer clay? Would love to sit in your conservatory and paint easter eggs while drinking champagne :0)
ReplyDelete..you are always welcome in my conservatory, Annie, and there are always lots of champagne, of course ;-) Yes, the eggs are made from polymer clay, and then coloured first with fibrepens in different colors and then golden nailpolish in light stokes..
ReplyDeleteYou did a splendid job with the eggs! Love the glittery look.
ReplyDeleteVery Beautifull Eggs! Spring is in the air!

This looks so pretty and lovely ... very inviting to join in with the celebrations! Petra.
ReplyDeleteSuperb colors of your Easter eggs, but I would be happy to try these strawberries!;)
ReplyDeleteThe eggs are so pretty! And why shouldn't you have strawberries 'out of season', probably they've been flown in from the southern hemisphere (at great cost) especially for you :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a welcoming scene and the eggs are pretty!
ReplyDeleteLove it!
groetjes evelien

ReplyDeleteI love the basket with the eggs, and the cup of tea is tempting...
ReplyDeleteWishing you all a great spring coming!!
Hugs,
Paloma
That is such a pretty little setting.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy Spring, it is also my favorite season.
Regards, Linda
