1 December 2010

December here I come...

I love christmas and all it´s beauty, love the decorations and all the traditions, and the glow of all the lights in the darkness. So I welcome december.
I made a whole lot of cushions with christmas themes. They will all be listed on Petit Brocante tonight.

And 1. of december is the first day in the advent calender, so Annie, the cushion with the two small girls waiting for presents will be in the Annie Box too.

New pillow for the bedroom

At last I´ve finished the pillow I have been embroidering for the bedroom. I have to wear strong glasses to do it now a days ;-)
I haven´t made decisions about the floors and walls in this room yet, though I have been wondering about having tiles here too. Don´t want the house to be too colourful, though.

The dresser will get some patina too, and the shelves and drawers will be filled with clothes, linen and womens assesories..

..still pillowing ;-)

..well, couldn´t quite stop, and I´ve spend the day relaxing in my summer house. This time I remembered to bring some materials along. So here are some more pillows in another color scale. I think the green-blue ones will go into the entrance room.
I have been experimenting with different colors as backgrounds using Photoshop. I think the prints with the angel will be very good for upolstery of the dinner chairs.
I did a lot of prints, so now I soon have so order some more trimmings..and I realized that I will reach 300 followers soon. I have to think of a Giveaway, don´t I?
I used prints from the graphics fairy.

cushions

I spent the day in bed, because I got ill. Bad luck. Nothing much to do but to sleep and to make miniatures of the kind that don´t need a lot of working space and materials. So I made the three first cushions of the prints, I made yesterday. They got very girly too, seems I can´t avoid that these days...
I found the prints on The Graphics Fairy.
