To night after work I had a little time to experiment with printing on fabrics. I have tried that before, the news are that these prints colours don´t smear or run out, though I use a bubble ink jet printer. A sneeze or a drop of water won´t ruin your work, and you can even wash the fabrics. That is revolutionary to me (but may be not to you ;-)
The secret is Bubble Jet Set 2000 for ink jet printers, which you can buy a lot of places, try to google it for your own country. This fluid preparates the fabrics and preserves the prints in a few easy steps. You don´t need to use the recommended special rinse in the last phase, I just used an ordinary hair shampoo.
One bottle of Bubble Jet Set 2000 goes for about 20-25 sheets of A4 papers, and I have to stop myself from printing spontaneously and try to become more selective :-)
Well, as you may guess, my next steps will be making pillows, and maybe there also will be fabrics for a lean chair made of the one with the birds and the flowers. It´s the same print, I´ve used as a wallpaper in the Orangerie for the panels...
