Baskets and bags

I am spending my time in my summer house with very few materials for making miniatures. But I found some paper ribbons for wrapping gifts in the supermarket and my crochet needle. So I have been making a few baskets and bags.
The first baskets are for vegetables (I wish, I had some miniature tomatoes, aubergines, peppers and onions here, so I could show you). The ones with the pink line will go into the bathroom, I think. And the bags might be used for a trip to the local farm marked..

Gifts from Lisette

Yesterday I recieved these wonderful gifts from Lisette. I had asked her how to make a terrazzo floor for the bathroom, and she kindly showed me her tutorial AND promised to send me some flakes to use for the floor. But Lisette also sent me more. Look at this beautiful little book, that Lisette made, its was sent in a little box with the sweetest fabric. I´ll use the book as a guestbook in the hall and make a feather pen for it. Thank you so much, Lisette, I am making plans for my gifts for you in return.

Moving in to the bathroom too

This is what I have been collecting for the bathroom so far. The style is still french with a twist, cause I don´t want it to be too white and sweet. I have moved some walls to get this room, and I haven´t decided yet how to make the big surfaces floor, walls and ceiling. I know where to put the bathtub, the toilet and the sink, and I have been dressing the golden details a little bit down.
I also know that I have to add: Big chandelier, soaps, bottles and a lot of other bathroom items. I would like a terazzo floor, but how ever do you make that??
