Still painting...

Still very occupied by different kinds of patina and using different effects. I love the dirty look, as you might know, but I also have a weakness for the softness that golden accents adds to a piece of furniture or a decorative item.

I´ve ground painted this furniture with a black base. Then I added a crackle medium, and mixed a light gray color to make it´s basic color.
Then I added lots of gold with one of those acrylic paints that have a bit of a glittering effect.
Below is a close-up of the patina...

This piece of furniture is listed on Etsy.

  9. Hi Susanne! I am a Big fan of aged ANYTHING and I love the depth and the warmth that your technique gives to the finish of this little table! I love the close up as it really shows the grain of the wood and the bits of black peeking through and the top layer of the paint and the golden glaze. Very very pretty!

  10. I adore your work and wish I could buy one of everything!! In the meantime I am trying to learn how to create similar pantina's and aging effects; could you tell me where I could go to learn? Thank you so very much! Mini hugs and BIG love!
