Louise did some work on the big closet ment for the dining room today. She want´s it to be a place to show her treasures and special collections - and this time mostly for the dining.
I think the french people calls it an Armorie..
Louise gave it several layers of matte paint, and then gave life to the old worn and darkened pieces of the furniture. The back-inside got a strip of paper from the bedroom walls.
Need I tell, that Louise can´t wait to decorate the closet?

It's really lovely and I know already that Louise has great taste so I expect to see some pretty and interesting treasures.
What a treasure that armoire is! And when it finally houses all those precious objects you mention, it will be a delight for the eyes! Louise is certainly a woman of great taste and she certainly is a whiz when it comes to adding a painterly touch. John must be so proud of her. Yay!!!

Great project. I would look great with some glass in the openings and the shelves filled with tiny treasures.
