White skates

I remember one christmas as a child, when I got what I wished the most from my grandparents (I actually often did ;-), a band new pair of ice skates, just like the ones on the picture. Boots made of soft white leather, with black "high heels", and steel skates as sharp as a knife. I kept them beside my bed, so that I could watch them when I fell a sleep and again, when I woke up.
Today I got me a new pair of ice skates, just like the ones I had as a kid. Only this time they are a bit smaller and was sent to me from Lotte in Finland. They are perfect! Thank you so much, Lotte, I am preparing your gift in return theese days.

  17. My sister, who is nine years older than me, had a pair of skaates like this, only they were in wheelchairs, because we have no ice ...
To me, that I was a child, it was forbidden to touch them, but when she was not there, I measured them in secret :-)
This gift is a show, thanks for the link
