Entrance room (2)

This is the second last day in my vacation. So I had to do some miniature work. I have been painting the cabinet and the bench, and made some tableaus with miniatures I made during time. Annie made the candle snuffer.
The cabinet will be filled with a lot of different objects from the house in the matching colors, and some fabrics and linnen...it will take me some time to get such a collection, I think. The little box with books and things was the one, I got from Alicia in the holidays swap, and the framed picture, I got from her will also do nice in the room. The cabinet will get some wall paper on its inner backside. I found a motive with efeu-leaves.
I will also make a chandelier, and a coat rack...and some outerwear..and some shoes.
And then I have to do the walls, I´ll paint them using the technique, I used for the kitchen. The cabinet also hides a door, I find very ugly, so it has to be exactly there although I would have preferred to move it a little bit back in the room.

I have great difficulties taking photos in this room because there is so little light and space..so remember to click to enlarge for details..

  16. Thanks everyone!
I didn´t paint the table myself, but all of the other furniture. The table was my inspiration for the room.
I didn´t make the bench myself either, only painted it, and I can´t remember where I bought it, but it´s mainstream dolls house furniture..maybe Eurominis or VEGA. The mirror is an Euromini, a bit of painting does a lot..
    Love, Susanne
