This is the result of the minimaking before my short trip to Greece ;-) I got some pillowprints from
Annie, that I brought along to the summerhouse with some tiny ribbons, and some straw/wicker-materials to make the baskets from. These are my first attempts, still quite primitive, but I´m working with that..
Oh they look fab, all of them! And I love the colours, so nicely muted down ones, really peaceful :)

They look indeed wonderful!
ReplyDeleteTe han quedado muy reales y el color muy bonito

Hi Susanne. Both pillows and baskets came very well. I feel castrated because I can not find the material to make baskets :-(
ReplyDeleteIn Italy, the crisis has cut the legs of the few resellers of miniatures and materials and you must arrange recycling here and there, but not the same thing.
However good and safe journey in Greece :-)
the baskets are great! I love the pillows' material pattern:)
ReplyDeletePutene ble fine ,likte godt serveringsbrettet en riktig god idee.
ReplyDeleteGod tur !

Preciosos!! me encantan las cestas. Un beso. Estefanía.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments! You are making me very happy.
ReplyDeleteI must clear up a small misunderstanding, I think, since I am not going to Greece to spend my summerholidays this year, but to Italy instead. As much as I love Italy, I will miss the greek spirit this year and miss spending most of the time by the sea. Anthoula saw that, so she most kindly sent me the greek food.
Flora: I bought my basketmaterials at the Farum-fair from a German compagny, I think they will have a web-site too. I´ll look for it and let you know.
Love,Susanne
You have done it again Susanne. First attempt .... you could have fooled me. SMILE
ReplyDeleteYour pillows are beautifull..

They are all very well done! I love the antique look of the pillows and your baskets are nice too. I especially like the tray with the wine bottle and the one on the bottom with the clasp.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
I really like the 'rustic' look of the baskets Susanne, and Annie is really 'on a roll' with her pillow production! They're very lovely, lucky you :)
ReplyDeleteAnd on top of all that you're going to Italy for your holidays - sometimes those of us who live way down at the bottom of the world are jealous of those of you who are so close to wonderful 'exotic' destinations.
What wonderful items with this braid. I have some I bought at a mini show and was wondering what to do with it. Thank you for the inspiration! So lucky to get to go to Greece! Wow!

Your cushions are great and you should be satisfied with your baskets.

These braids really make great baskets. Love them. I like the faded vintage feel of the cushions. Very authentic, Susanne.
ReplyDeleteYou have been very productive lately, making a lot of nice things!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great vacation!!!!
