Fair

This weekend I went to my very first Miniature Fair in Farum outside Copenhagen.
As you might guess, I did a little shopping at the fair, in fact mostly materials, but here are some of the purchaces, already changed a little bit and mixed in new combinations. I painted the cupboard and the shelf with a very thin paint. The bottles are bought on Ebay, and Annie made the little tread holder for me. The statue is for a lamp, it had angelwings, but I cut it off. The soap is "real" lavendersoap, that I made some time ago.

  8. Oh... you painted the cupboard already. Mine is still untouched. Now I´ll look like a copycat when I paint mine green ;0) I really love how you´ve put things together... Thanks for a couple of great days in Copenhagen!

  11. Thanks again.
Annie: It was a great weekend. And you will never be a copycat ;-) But I recognice the feeling, I had it when I saw your lavenders yesterday, I had it in my mind already, but you were the one, who brought the thought to reality. Sometimes it´s the other way around. I think we both have discovered that a lot of times during the years ;-0)

  14. Great to hear you had a lovely trip to Farum. As I mentioned in my blog we also made the trip but only Sunday. I heard from Lene that you only had a few hours there. We stayed there from beginning until end. :-) I hope to meet both you and Annie next year.

  15. Hello Reiko!
We spend 4 hours there saturday, and we didn´t make any breaks, so it was very good indeed. We had talked about it, but didnt felt like we had to get back there sunday. So we just enjoyed our time in Copenhagen. Hope to see you next year!

  18. Thank you so much to the rest of you also. Its fantastic to get so much positive response at ones work, I am so lucky!
Catherina:yes, the plant is a lavender, I bought at the fair. And like Annie I also bought some lavender-material (obsidian-hall.blogspot.com for Annies blog), and want to make some myself.
Its funny with the bathtub, can´t wait to see it!

  20. Susanne, thanks for posting your purchases. What a wonderful fair if they sell great products like that :). A friend and I were talking about getting something like this going here but I think it won't be easy as the community is so small :). Meeting with friends is a big part of the fun when shopping, especially after a great spree and everyone's sitting down for tea and comparing purchases :).

  21. What lovely little things! The lavender plant is absolutely gorgeous - both the plant itself and the pot. You lucky girl having Miniature Fairs to go to - no such thing in Ireland sadly. Best wishes Carol :)
