Doing the kitchen in the living room
I´ve got some kitchen furniture a long with some pots and pans in the mail recently. I have been ill all day and trying to get some rest, but now I am begining to feel a little better. So I realized that my workroom is too filled and messy, and moved into the livingroom instead ;-) The dinner table is a fine place to do a little work, and I´ll remember to clean up afterwards...
The colors don´t appear right on the photos, the green one is much more clear light green.
I have been aging some of the kitchen furniture that is supposed to go into the kitchen of my new dollshouse. Thats a very relaxating thing to do..while getting better..

The table looks good and I like your sink unit. Hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteGet well soon Suzanne! The sink unit is beautiful and I love the way you aged the table!
ReplyDeleteIt is nice with a working room but when that is to messy one can also move out of the room. That is the beuty of our hobby. :-) Love the work you have done with the kitchen.
ReplyDeleteCan´t wait to see when you start furnishing the house... I loooove the cream/green pot. You know that´s the colors I collect in my 1:1 kitchen.
ReplyDeleteSo happy your getting better! We have a trip and a miniature fair to attend saturday :0)

Thank you, all of you, you are so supporting.
ReplyDeleteAnnie: take a look at this link: http://www.countrycontrast.co.uk/store/index.php?cat_id=2 - the bread bin is fantastic. And the color of the shelf is really more like that too.
Ira: I wish you get well soon too!
Love, Susanne

What a laugh :-) Even in my kitchen and living room you can always find a bit 'of everything: colors, glue, brushes, furniture disassembled ... Before dinner I have always rush to get rid of all :-)
ReplyDeleteI like your new furniture and I really like the green you used: is very beautiful!
Good night

ReplyDeleteLove the crackled effect you have created, Susanne! My dining table is where I work too. Not my favourite but it is the best because I can lay many things on it..lol. Also forces me to clear up after that ;p. I also blog there most of the time and blast my stereo while I am at it.
ReplyDeleteThe link you gave for the kitchen ware is wonderful. Thank you!
Ge well soon!
I like the sink unit, I wonder how you're going to fill the shelves. I also like the aged effect on the table and shelf.
