Another snowstorm is coming..so I´m making spring- and summerflowers for the Orangerie. I made a pelargonia of 2 kits to make it large enough. I wanted it to be something in between the kind you call "Rose bud" and "Queen Ingrid". But I think the leaves are too small and too light green to fit exactly. Then I made some narcissus of the material left..the inside of the flower is pink and double, a whole new hybrid I guess ;-) I had too add a small bowl I just made too..
It's lovely the pelargonia and the narcissus!!
ReplyDeletegreat work
The snowstorm is in the southern part of
ReplyDeleteSweden now - very much snow - so nice to
look att your flowers. They are very pretty
and I like the little "hybrids"!

It's a lovely arrangement and I really like the little bowl.
ReplyDeleteThey are stunning....did you make them from tissue paper...they looks so delicate.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and delicate! great job!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
ReplyDeleteTalluhlah Belle..my compliment for YOUR beautiful flowers. The pelargonia is from a kit, and it´s silk-paper (don´t know if it´s the right word in english), I think its too delicate . I used the silk paper for the narcisses too, and I find it a lot more appropriate here, because it is a very delicate flower in it self. Good advices from you will be very welcome!
What pretty flowers you´ve made Susanne. I LOVE the fragility of the silky paper, but I see that it´s not quite right for the pellis flower, which normally is more "robust". You have to teach me to make flowers one day. I think my 10 thumps will clutter everthing up... The bowl looks beautiful too...
ReplyDeleteHi Susanna,love it all!
ReplyDeleteThank you for leaving a comment, and I love the story about the drawers..so funny to hear that it happened to you too! Some months ago I had a trunk sale, and you will not beleive it,but in one off the boxes with junk,I found the missing drawer! I lost it for years and now I have it back! Still I like it much more with one drawer missing,so I leave it this way!

ReplyDeleteAnnie, the two of us are going to make miniature workshops about a lot of things, I´ve known you for nearly 40 years now, and you never had 10 thumbs ;-)
